HIFK: contracts of two players terminated!

HIFK announces that it has terminated the contracts of its forwards Jesse Seppälä and Viljo Kähkönen. Seppälä’s contract would have been valid for next season and Kähkönen’s until spring 2028.
Seppälä, 24, represented HIFK since the 2020-21 season. He played 153 regular season games in the Liiga (8+15=23) and 13 playoff games (1+0) for the club. Last season, Seppälä recorded 0+3 points in 35 games.
Kähkönen, 18, made his Liiga debut last season and recorded 0+1 points in three games. Kähkönen has mainly played in HIFK’s junior teams in recent years.
