Pori Ässät has signed a two-year extension with defender Aleksi Anttalainen, 27.
– I remember when I arrived here, my only goal was to get a playing spot with Ässät. I have been able to take steps forward here and have gained consistency in my play, Anttalainen commented in the club’s press release.
– A national team spot is a dream and a strong goal for the coming years.
Anttalainen is known more as a defensive defender, but this season he has also contributed offensively. In the 16 games he has played, the defender has recorded 3+4=7 points.
