The Harri Pesonen, who has won Olympic gold and two World Championship golds with the Lions, returns to the League after a 14-year break. The 37-year-old winger has signed a two-year contract with JYP.
Pesonen, who was part of both of JYP’s Finnish championship victories, has represented the Swiss team SCL Tigers for the last five seasons, serving as captain for the last four seasons.

– Pesonen puts the team’s interests ahead of his own. He will be a leader in our team, showing both on and off the ice. In addition to leadership, Pesonen brings more problem-solving ability and especially offensive skills to our team, Mälkiä lists.
