The Finnish goalkeeper Niclas Westerholm, who played for Oulun Kärpät last season, will not continue with the Czech top-tier club BK Mlada Boleslav.
The 28-year-old Westerholm arrived in Boleslav in September on a short-term contract. The Finnish goalkeeper’s contract was not extended as the team’s goalkeeper Vojtech Mokry returned to fitness.
Westerholm played three matches for Boleslav with a save percentage of 89.0.
In the last two seasons, Westerholm represented Kärpät. Last spring, Westerholm became the third goalkeeper for Kärpät, and ultimately his Liiga contract was not extended.
