The NHL Network’s experts have listed the current top 20 centers in the NHL.

The list includes three Finnish names. Florida Panthers’ Aleksander Barkov is ranked fourth, Carolina Hurricanes’ Sebastian Aho is in 13th place, and Dallas Stars’ Roope Hintz is in 17th place.

Barkov won both the Stanley Cup and the Selke Trophy for best defensive forward in the last two seasons, which he has now won a total of three times. Last season, Barkov recorded 71 points in 67 regular season games with 20+51=71 and 22 points in 23 playoff games with 6+16=22.

Aho scored 74 points in 79 regular season games with 29+45=74 and 15 points in 15 playoff games with 7+8=15. Hintz finished with 67 points in 76 regular season games with 28+39=67 and 12 points in 17 playoff games with 6+6=12. Both of their teams advanced to the conference finals last season.

The top three on the list are Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid, Colorado Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon, and Edmonton’s Leon Draisaitl. Each of them surpassed the 100-point mark last season.
