Does Raimo Helminen continue at SaiPa? MTV: Comment hinting from the club manager
For the second season in a row, SaiPa’s head coach Raimo Helminen has not yet made a decision about his job for next season.
MTV Urheilu interviewed SaiPa’s sports director Harri Aho during Friday’s Liiga round. Aho admits that the club is on tenterhooks regarding “Raipen’s” decision.
– That slow Häme man, Helminen, is known not to make hasty decisions. Surely we need to get an answer in the coming weeks, Aho commented.
MTV’s Liiga expert Juhamatti Aaltonen states that the resolution of next season’s head coach will also affect the construction of the team for the upcoming season.
– On the other hand, it’s quite a bad situation if Raipe is so slow (with his decision), because at some point the players also want to know who will coach next season. That is, when they start acquiring players, Aaltonen reminded.
