Contract terminated – Jukurit forward leaves: “We did not find a suitable role”

The Jukurit have terminated the contract of center Santeri Koskela by mutual agreement with the player.
Koskela, 22, represented Jukurit for one season. He played 49 games for the team last season, scoring 1+1 points. During this preseason, Koskela played one game in the Jukurit jersey.
– We did not find a suitable role for Sanel in this season’s team, so we reached a solution that satisfies both parties. We want to thank and wish Sanel good luck for the future, Jukurit’s sports director Mikko Hakkarainen says in the club’s statement.
Before last season, Koskela represented his youth club JYP. He has played a total of 164 Liiga games for JYP and Jukurit, with a scoring record of 7+8=15.
