Ässät announced a grim injury report – key players sidelined for a long time

Ässät announced their injury report on Monday, which is harsh reading for Pori considering that the new Liiga season hasn’t even started yet.
The team’s infirmary has seven players. Among them, the longest sidelined are Valtteri Lipiäinen, who will be out for three months, and Feetu Knihti, who is expected to return to action in about 10-12 weeks.
The defensive giant Miro Karjalainen is out for the time being. The situation of forward Nestor Noivan is being monitored day by day.
Balázs Sebőkin, Arttu Alasiuruan, and Axel Skinnarin are still undergoing examinations.
Ässät will open their Liiga season on September 1 with an away game against Kärpät.
