Frölunda, leading in SHL, is losing Finnish forward Arttu Ruotsalainen.
According to Aftonbladet, Ruotsalainen is moving to Kloten, a team playing in the Swiss league, for the next season. The transfer is surprising, as just in December, it was reported that Ruotsalainen was close to extending his contract with Frölunda.
Kloten is a familiar team for Ruotsalainen. In the 2022–23 season, he scored 42 points in 52 regular season games for the team.
This season, the 28-year-old forward has made 27 points in 36 games for Frölunda.
Ruotsalainen also has experience in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres and in the AHL.
