Finnish ice hockey legend Jari Kurri‘s son Paulus Kurri, 19, will be seen today, Thursday, in the lineup of Kiekko-Espoo’s Liiga team as they face the Swedish Växjö Lakers in a practice match.
Playing as a forward, Kurri has been placed in Kiekko-Espoo’s third line, where he plays alongside Tuomas Suoniemi and Elias Puolanne. The match will be held in Lohja and will start at 18:30.
In recent years, Kurri has played in Kiekko-Espoo’s junior teams. Last season, he represented Kiekko-Espoo’s U20 second team, which plays in U20 Mestiksen. Kurri scored 38 points in 31 games with 15 goals and 23 assists.
