KalPa has received unfortunate news from the sick bay.
The club announces on their website that star forward Juuso Mäenpää‘s season is over. Mäenpää was injured in Saturday’s match against JYP, and the injury he sustained requires surgical treatment.
Mäenpää, 23, played 32 games this season, recording 8+23=31 points. He is third in KalPa’s internal scoring list.
KalPa states that following Mäenpää’s injury, they will be exploring the player market for a potential forward reinforcement.
