Jukurit announces on their website that forward Sakke Hämäläinen‘s season is over.
Hämäläinen, 27, is in his second season with Jukurit. He managed to play 47 games this season, scoring 9+6=15 points.
Hämäläinen is already the third Jukurit player in a short time whose season ends due to injury. The seasons of Matthieu Herpini and Kim Johansson are also over.
Currently, Jukurit is also missing Aaron Hakala (day by day), Severi Immonen (day by day), Arttu Kärki (week by week), and Connor Ford (2-3 weeks).
Jukurit is in 15th place in the Liiga. They are currently ten points away from a playoff spot.
