Yle Urheilu: Joni Orti’s end-of-season follow-up is clear – there were plenty of interested parties

Goalkeeper Joni Ortio, 34, continues his games with Sport.
According to Yle Urheilu, Sport has signed a contract with Ortio that covers the remainder of the season.
Ortio joined Sport at the end of September on a match-by-match contract that was valid until the national team break. He arrived to replace the injured Miroslav Svoboda. Now the parties have signed a new contract that keeps Ortio in Vaasa for the rest of the season.
According to Yle, some of the big clubs were also interested in Ortio.
This season, Ortio has played ten matches for Sport with a save percentage of 90.3. His goals against average is 2.43.
