Urheilucast’s claim: Aatos Koivu’s departure from TPS is approaching – these Liiga clubs are in the mix
The TPS promise Aatos Koivu is still actively mentioned in transfer rumors.
Urheilucast’s host Esko Seppänen wrote last week on Instagram that at least two teams are interested in the 19-year-old forward.
– According to UC’s sources, Vaasan Sport has joined the “very tight” chase for Aatos Koivu. So now there is interest from both Sport and HPK.
– Shedden and Koivu were a strong combo back in Halifax in 2008. UC’s sources believe Koivu’s departure is only a matter of time, Seppänen claimed in his post.
So far this season, Koivu has played 18 games for TPS, where the forward has totaled six (2+4) points.
Before the league season, Koivu also showcased his skills to the Montreal Canadiens. The NHL team has drafted the Finnish forward for the summer of 2024.
