Lukko has made a significant player contract for the next season, claims Urheilucast.
According to the podcast host Esko Seppänen, the effective player Antti Saarela will continue with Lukko in the upcoming season. Saarela has played 44 games this season with stats of 13+23=36.
Saarela is in his second consecutive season with Lukko. Last season, the forward returned from North America to Rauma and scored 12+19=31 points in 59 games.
Having played in Lukko since junior age, Saarela is the fourth highest scorer on his team this season. The forward’s older brother Aleksi Saarela currently represents TPS. The brothers’ father is the Liiga legend Pasi Saarela.
