Unfortunately injured Liiga forward: season is over

Mikkelin Jukurit informs that forward Jeremi Tammela‘s season has ended due to injury.
Tammela, 22, was injured in last Saturday’s match against JYP in a concerning manner. He was carried off the field on a stretcher and then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Tammela was discharged from the hospital on Saturday evening. Tests revealed an injury that will keep the forward out of the rink for the remainder of the season.
Tammela has recorded 1+17=18 points in the 38 games he has played this season. He is third in the league’s rookie scoring race.
