Jokerit has signed a two-season contract with defender Valtteri Pulli, 25.
– Valtteri has seen and experienced a lot in his career. However, there is still untapped potential in him that we will surely witness in the upcoming seasons. Next season, Valtteri will set a standard for our defensive play with his size and performance, says Jokerit’s sports director Olli-Pekka Yrjänheikki in the club’s statement.
This season, Pulli played in the SHL for Djurgården. In 30 games, he recorded 1+3 points and his plus-minus rating was seven below zero.
Earlier in his career, Pulli has also played in the AHL and the Swiss top league.
Most recently, Pulli was seen in the Liiga during the 2022-23 season with TPS. He scored 3+14=17 points in 53 games.
