Iikka Kangasniemi, 30, who was one of the key players for Pelicans last season, is changing teams in the Liiga.
According to MTV Sports, the skillful scorer has signed a one-year contract with Kiekko-Espoo. Last season, Kangasniemi scored 9+26=35 points in 54 regular-season games while wearing the Pelicans jersey.
Kangasniemi has represented Blues and HIFK in addition to Pelicans in the Liiga. The 170-centimeter forward has played a total of 420 regular-season games with a total of 105+177=282 points.
