Familiar forward Severi Immonen, 26, is moving abroad for the first time in his career. The Polish top league team Unia Oswiecim announces that they have signed a one-year contract with Immonen.

Immonen represented Jukurit in the Liiga for the last two seasons. Last season, he recorded 1+5 points in 37 games with the team.

In the Liiga, Immonen has also represented KalPa. He has played a total of 216 regular season games (11+22=33) and 12 playoff games in the Liiga.

– Immonen is a versatile player who can play both center and wing. He is a very hardworking player who does not shy away from hard work and competition on the ice. He is capable of playing well at both ends of the ice, the club’s announcement describes.

Unia Oswiecim is quite a Finnish legion. In addition to Immonen, the team is represented by Sami Aittokallio, Aleksi Mäkelä, Kalle Valtola, Sameli Ventelä, Erik Ahopelto, Jere Jokinen, Otto Nieminen, and Jimi Rönkkönen. Additionally, the team’s head coach is Markus Juurikkala.
