Tappara faces SaiPa in the Liiga on Friday. The puck drops in Tampere at 18:30.
Tappara has received great news ahead of the match. The team’s Danish superstar Joachim Blichfeld is returning to the lineup. He has been out for the last three games.
Blichfeld has recorded 52 points with 24 goals and 28 assists in 40 games this season. He is second in the Liiga scoring race, just behind his linemate Benjamin Rautiaisen. Blichfeld will play on Tappara’s second line with Rautiaisen and Julius Mattila on Friday.
Also returning to Tappara’s lineup today after a long break is defender Olli Juolevi. He has only played one game this season, back in September.
Meanwhile, Jesper Mattila, who was injured in the previous match, is out of Tappara’s lineup.
