Reporter Sasha Huttunen reported on X the plans for building Kiekko-Espoo’s team for the upcoming season.

According to Huttunen, Kiekko-Espoo intends to invest significantly in the top line for next season. Financially, the team plans to focus on the sharpest edge, while the rest of the team will be built more economically and evenly.

Huttunen adds that currently, all foreign forwards of Kiekko-Espoo are set to leave the club after this season.

Currently, three foreign forwards are playing for Kiekko-Espoo: Peter Quenneville, Cameron Hillis, and John Stevens. Quenneville and Hillis represented the team last season, while Stevens joined the club this season.

The entire trio has played all 29 games of Kiekko-Espoo this season. Hillis is the team’s second-best scorer with 5+12=17 points, while Quenneville is the best goal scorer and the third most effective player with 11+5=16 points. Stevens has recorded 3+9=12 points.

Last season, Hillis was Kiekko-Espoo’s top scorer and Quenneville the best goal scorer. Hillis scored 14+27=41 points in 60 games, while Quenneville had 19+16=35 points in 51 games.

Kiekko-Espoo on lyömässä suht paljon rahaa ensi kauden ykkösketjuun. Panostavat terävämpään kärkeen ja muu rosteri sitten taloudellisempaa ja tasaisempaa. Kaikki ulkkarihyökkääjät menossa näillä näkymin vaihtoon.
