Finnish forward Robert Leino has emerged in the transfer rumors for next season in the Liiga.
According to Urheilucast, Tappara has become a strong candidate for Leino’s new team. However, it is not believed that contract negotiations will be resolved anytime soon, and a decision may be awaited until the end of summer.
Leino’s potential contract offer is said to include a clause that would allow a transfer abroad.
This season, Leino has played in Switzerland in Kloten, where he has recorded 24 points with 8 goals and 16 assists in 43 games.
Leino has previously played in the Liiga for Ilves, HPK, and HIFK. Additionally, he spent several seasons in the Swedish SHL.
