League clubs are already preparing for possible goalkeeper acquisitions. According to Urheilucast’s Esko Seppänen, several clubs are looking for a new goalkeeper on the market, with eyes particularly on the NHL training camps.

According to Seppänen, there weren’t enough quality goalkeepers for all the League teams in the first distribution. He states that currently at least Pelicans and Tappara are fully prepared regarding their goalkeeper situation.

League clubs are exceptionally actively monitoring the NHL training camps. They are particularly interested in goalkeepers who will be left without an NHL spot after the camps and will become available on the market.

According to Seppänen’s insider information, especially Jokerit and JYP have become active in the goalkeeper market.

JYP’s situation is particularly clear, according to him. Seppänen states that the club “is not messing around,” but Simo Mälkiä is seriously looking for a new goalkeeper.

Seppänen believes that JYP does not want to falter in their goalkeeper situation. The club wants to succeed this season, and if necessary, they are ready to spend money on a goalkeeper.

Jokerit may also have a need for a goalkeeper. According to Seppänen, this is partly about the club’s credibility, as Veini Vehviläinen did not convince in the season opener.
