Swedish forward Lars Bryggman, 33, is returning to the Liiga next season, reports Expressen.
According to the Swedish newspaper, Bryggman is moving to Ilves for the upcoming season.
Bryggman is currently playing for SHL club Skellefteå AIK. He has recorded 6+6=12 points in 36 games this season.
In the previous three seasons, Bryggman represented Pelicans in the Liiga, being one of the team’s star players. He accumulated a total of 117 points from 158 regular season games with the club, scoring 57+60. Bryggman won silver in his first two Liiga seasons.
Ilves’ head coach Tommi Niemelä is familiar to Bryggman from Pelicans. Bryggman played under Niemelä in Lahti for two seasons.
