The team Jokerit, which has had a difficult start to the season in Liiga, is seeking reinforcements from Sweden, reports the Swedish newspaper Expressen.
According to the newspaper’s sources, Jokerit has contacted several Swedish clubs to explore the possibilities of trades during the national team break.
The team’s difficult league situation is behind Jokerit’s activity. The Helsinki club is currently in 16th place in Liiga, which is second to last. The bottom three teams will be relegated at the end of the season.
According to Expressen, Jokerit is willing to part with its current players in exchange for new reinforcements. However, the newspaper does not specify which of Jokerit’s players would be targets for potential trades.
