League foreign player confirmation: contract terminated!

Pelicans announces that the contract of Swedish forward Lukas Zetterberg has been terminated by mutual agreement.
Zetterberg, 29, joined Pelicans last season. He played 26 games for the club last season, scoring 6+4=10 points. Zetterberg’s contract with Pelicans would have covered this season as well.
Pelicans and Zetterberg have reportedly been preparing for the termination of the contract over the past month. Zetterberg is rumored to be returning to his former club Västerås IK.
Zetterberg last represented Västerås in the 2022-23 season. After that, he also played one season in Allsvenskan with AIK and one season in the Czech Republic with HC Energie Karlovy Vary.
