There is a big change in HIFK’s lineup on Saturday. Jori Lehterä is missing from the Helsinki team’s roster as HIFK faces Lukko in the Liiga.

The 38-year-old Lehterä has started the season modestly. Four games have produced only one assist point, and his plus-minus statistic is minus two. Now the experienced star center is completely out.

The reason for the absence is not known.

Iiro Pakarinen will take Lehterä’s place as the second center, moving from his usual winger position to the center. He will be joined by Daniel Mäkiaho and Niko Huuhtanen.

A new name will also be seen in HIFK’s lineup. Jesper Ahlroth will play his first game with the Helsinki team.

There is also a change in the goaltending department: Tim Juel will take on the responsibility of stopping shots against Lukko.

The HIFK–Lukko game on Saturday will be played at Nordis at 15:00.
