The clearing of Lukko has continued actively over the weekend. Most recently, the club announced that Derek Daschke, Connor Ford, and Joni Ortio, who joined the team during this season, will be leaving the team.
The veteran goalkeeper Ortio, who represented the Rauma club last season, played six regular season games and two playoff games during his latest visit in Lukko’s jersey.
Canadian defender Daschke played in the Rauma defense in 10 games with stats of 2+1.
American forward Ford played six regular season games in Rauma with stats of 1+2. Neither of the foreign signings managed to score points in the playoffs.
Lukko’s season ended in a huge disappointment as the club lost in the first playoff round to HPK with a match score of 1-3.
