In the league today: Lukas Svejkovsky finally debuts in his new team – straight into the first line
In the league overshadowed by the Olympics, seven matches will be played on Friday.
Kiekko-Espoo receives a much-needed reinforcement in their lineup as the forward Lukas Svejkovsky, acquired from HIFK in January, finally makes his debut for his new team in an away game against Jukurit. Svejkovsky has been placed on the first line alongside Arttu Tuomaala and Janne Hämäläinen.
The 24-year-old American winger, who scored 11 points (6+5) in 14 games last season, has had a tough start to the season in the league. He managed only 12 points (6+6) in 34 games played with Ilves.
Kiekko-Espoo also announces that they have loaned forward Joakim Hirschovitsh and goaltender Aleksi Karjalainen to Ketterä, which plays in the Mestis league. The duo will play the next two games in Mestis.
