The start of the league’s super season is just around the corner, but there are still plenty of accomplished names available on the free market.

One of them is the defender legend of Kärpät, Atte Ohtamaa, 38. In an Iltalehti interview, Ohtamaa commented on his thoughts about the possible continuation of his career.

– The summer has gone in such a way that I have trained with the thought that if I play again, I want to get everything out of my body and the best that is still available. But at the same time, I have planned other things, Ohtamaa commented.

– I have wanted to give myself the opportunity and time to think. Let’s see when the games start, how it begins to feel. Do I want to jump somewhere to play again or should we start planning completely different things.

A solution probably won’t take long to wait for.

– Yes, the final decision will probably come in the coming weeks.

There is still no idea about a possible next player job.

– Some inquiries have come in, but nothing official or more serious yet, and we haven’t really looked at anything at this stage. If it starts to feel like that, then of course we will start looking more, and if not, then we will make an announcement accordingly.
