IL: Kärpät dropped a transfer bomb – Tappara star caught!

Tappara’s defender Aleksi Matinmikko is moving to Oulun Kärpät for the next season, reports Iltalehti.
The 25-year-old Matinmikko, originally from Oulu, has represented Tappara for two seasons. The 181-centimeter defender for the Lions has tallied impressive points of 6+10=16 in 24 games this season.
A product of Kiekko-Laser, he won the Finnish championship with Kärpät’s A-juniors in the 2018-19 season. However, he has not played any Liiga games with Kärpät.
Matinmikko’s current contract with Tappara ends after this season.
