Otto Karvinen, who has represented Jokerit for the last two seasons, continues his career in Lithuania. The 36-year-old forward has made a deal with Hockey Punks Vilnius, according to Iltalehti.

Hockey Punks Vilnius plays in the Baltic multinational league. According to IL, another Finn, Mestis veteran Lauri Huhdanpää, will also join the team for the upcoming season.

Karvinen has played nearly 400 SM-liiga games in his career. He represented TPS, Sport, HIFK, and Kärpät in the top league and celebrated the Finnish championship with Kärpät in the spring of 2018.

The 187 cm tall Karvinen is known for his physical playing style. He has also appeared for the Finnish national team and has won the SM-liiga penalty king title twice.

The number of Finns in the club is also increasing on the coaching side. Hockey Punks Vilnius hired Elmo Aittola, known from Mestis, as their new head coach this summer.
