HIFK receives two much-needed reinforcements: Geneve-Servette loans two players

HIFK will participate in the Spengler Cup, which will be held from December 26 to 31. The traditional tournament takes place in Davos.
For the tournament, HIFK is borrowing two players from Geneva-Servette, which plays in the Swiss top league, reports Blick. According to the newspaper, HIFK will see defender Eric Schneller, 20, and forward Jason Akeson, 35, in the tournament.
Schneller has played 25 games this season on Geneva-Servette’s defense. In those games, the defender has recorded stats of 2+2=4.
Akeson, on the other hand, has not played a single game this season. Last season, he represented the Italian HC Pusternalia in the ICEHL and scored 50 points in 46 games with stats of 18+32=50.
