Urheilucast: here is Ilves’ head coach for the next season!

The league’s head coach market is exceptionally interesting. Only four coaches have contracts extending to next season. Now, according to Urheilucast, Ilves has made a decision regarding their next head coach.
– UC’s information: Head coach Tommi Niemelä‘s entire coaching staff has signed an extension with Tampereen Ilves.
Niemelä’s coaching staff includes assistant coaches Joonas Tanska, Mika Marttila, and Tuomas Kiiskinen, goaltending coach Simo Vehviläinen, and strength coach Tommi Pärmäkoski.
The current season is Niemelä’s third with Ilves. In the previous two seasons, Ilves has finished among the top four. In spring 2025, Ilves celebrated bronze.
