The league’s disciplinary delegation has imposed an eight-match suspension on TPS’s Oliver Lauridsen due to the events of the TPS–Ässät match on Saturday.

Lauridsen tackled Ässät’s Petteri Riihinen violently, hitting him directly in the head. In the match itself, the Danish national team player received a match penalty.

The disciplinary delegation states that the contact resulting from Lauridsen’s tackle was directed with very high force to Riihinen’s head. According to them, the tackle to the opponent’s head could have been avoided.
