Vaasan Sport and forward Branden Troock have decided to terminate their Liiga contract by mutual agreement.
The 31-year-old Troock joined the Vaasa team in November from the Slovakian top league club HKM Zvolen. The Canadian forward played 14 games in the Liiga and recorded 3+2 points.
Last season, Troock played in the German DEL league for the Iserlohn Roosters. At that time, the team was coached by Doug Shedden, who was also seen as Sport’s head coach this season. Troock was one of Shedden’s trusted players last season, finishing with 12+9=21 points in 29 games.
