Peter Quenneville is moving to the DEL league in Germany for the next season. Iserlohn Roosters announced that they have signed a one-year contract with the 32-year-old Canadian forward.

Quenneville played in the Liiga for the past two seasons. In the 2024–25 season, he represented Kiekko-Espoo, and last season he also started with the team in the fall before moving in a trade to Ilves at the end of January. In exchange, Lukas Svejkovsky moved to Kiekko-Espoo.

The Roosters’ sports director Franz-David Fritzmeier expects Quenneville to particularly strengthen the team’s offense.

– Peter is a true goal scorer, as he has shown in several leagues. He is also a power play specialist, and that is what we have been looking for in the team, Fritzmeier commented in the announcement.

Last season, Quenneville scored 20 goals and accumulated a total of 34 points in 61 regular season games in the Liiga. In the playoffs, he played 12 games and finished with stats of 2+2.
