Järvinen’s injury requires surgery, and the 36-year-old veteran will not return to the playing field for the remainder of the season. He played his last match in mid-December against Pelicans.
This season, Järvinen managed to play 22 Liiga games, scoring six goals and providing seven assists.
Kiekko-Espoo is in 10th place in the Liiga standings.
