Kiekko-Espoo: captain sidelined for weeks

Kiekko-Espoo loses its captain sidelined from games for weeks.
The club states on its website that forward Matti Järvinen will be out of action for 3-5 weeks due to injury.
Järvinen, 35, who was named captain of Kiekko-Espoo for the current season, has started his season strongly, being one of his team’s most effective players. He has recorded 3+4 points in 11 games.
Also on the Kiekko-Espoo injury list for a longer period are Aarne Talvitie (3-6 months) and Santeri Virtanen (6-7 weeks). Additionally, Joni Jurmo (week-to-week), Joonas Rask (week-to-week), and Iikka Kangasniemi (day-to-day) are sidelined.
