AL: Ilves loses its young defensive prospect – moves to another Liiga club!

The young defender prospect of Ilves Sebastian Soini, 19, is changing teams after this season, reports Aamulehti.
According to AL’s information, Soini will move to Mikkelin Jukurit for the next season.
Soini is a product of Ilves. He made his Liiga debut two seasons ago. In the current season, Soini has played 35 games on Ilves’ defense with stats of 3+3.
Soini is a 5th round draft pick (#140) of the Minnesota Wild from 2024. He was part of the silver medal team of the Young Lions in the 2025 World Junior Championships.
