The Chicago Blackhawks are ready for major moves in the NHL trade market. Sportsnet’s insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the team has become active in trading following recent poor results.

GM Kyle Davidson is willing to part with even the first-round draft picks acquired from the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers for the year 2027.

Current players are also available. According to Friedman, Chicago is prepared to trade Finnish forward Teuvo Teravainen and Jordan Greenway.

Other NHL teams have inquired about Chicago’s young prospects and centers. The Philadelphia Flyers have previously been reported to be interested in Frank Nazar and Oliver Moore.

The Blackhawks’ start to the season has been dismal. The team has won only four of its 18 games and sits second to last in the Western Conference.

On Saturday, Chicago suffered its sixth consecutive loss, as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated them with a crushing score of 9–2. The goal difference in the three-game road trip was a harsh 6–18.

The Blackhawks will play next on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres.
