HIFK confirmed a terrible news about their star forward on Tuesday. The club states on their website that Sebastian Repo will be sidelined for approximately three months due to an injury.
– Repo suffered a lower limb injury during team practice when the forward’s blade reportedly caught the ice, causing him to fall against the boards, as described in HIFK’s statement.
Repo, 30, joined HIFK last season and also suffered a long-term injury then. He was only able to play 15 regular season games, scoring 6+5=11 points, and five playoff games with a total of 0+1.
