HIFK: Two defenders leave the club!
The last-placed team in the league, HIFK, announced on Saturday evening the departure of two players.
The defenders Arttu Kärki and Matias Rajaniemi will not continue with HIFK. The tryout clauses for both expired at the beginning of November.
Rajaniemi, 23, played a total of 11 games for HIFK with stats of 0+2. Kärki, 20, was injured in HIFK’s first regular season game of the season, and the defender who scored no goals has not been seen in the playing lineup for the last 1.5 months.
HIFK received a small glimmer of hope in their dark autumn on Saturday by defeating the league leaders Ässät at home with a score of 3-0.
The victory also ended HIFK’s six-game losing streak.
