Pelicans has strengthened its offense for the upcoming season. The club has signed a one-year contract with forward Liam Hawel, 27.
In the last two seasons, Hawel has played in Sweden’s HockeyAllsvenskan. This season, he represented Kalmar and recorded impressive stats of 13+32=45 in 51 games.
Earlier in his career, Hawel played in the USports university league, the OHL, and he also has a few AHL games under his belt.
Hawel plays as a right winger. He is 193 centimeters tall and weighs 86 kilograms.
