Important extension agreement – Pelicans secured their trusted defender
Swedish defender Hampus Falk continues his career with the Lahti Pelicans. The one-year extension of the contract between the parties was announced on Thursday.
The 190-centimeter tall defensive giant played 56 games for the Pelicans last season, with stats of 4+6=10.
– Falk is an important player for us, and we are happy that the cooperation continues. He is a reliable defender who works for the team every day and brings consistency to our play. We believe he still has the opportunity to take the next steps and help the team succeed, Jarkko Oikarinen Holm commented.
The upcoming season will be the third for the 29-year-old defender in a Pelicans jersey. Before coming to Finland, Falk played several seasons in Sweden’s second-highest league, HockeyAllsvenskan.
