JYP and Latvian defender Miks Tumanovs have mutually agreed to terminate his player contract. The contract would have covered the next season.

Tumanovs, 24, joined JYP for the 2023-24 season, representing the team for two seasons. In his first season, he played 48 games with a score of 0+1, but in the past season, he only played 17 games with a score of 1+0.

Last season, Tumanovs also played on loan at Jukurit and in Mestis for KeuPa HT and TUTO Hockey. Before moving to JYP, Tumanovs represented RoKi in Mestis.

Tumanovs has also played for the Latvian national team in recent years.
